About the Role
You will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire confidence, curiosity, and strong language development.
Students will study areas including grammar, vocabulary, translation, literature, cultural topics, and conversational fluency while developing communication skills and intercultural understanding.
You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations, supporting them in building confidence with speaking assessments, writing accuracy, comprehension, and exam technique.
You may also have the opportunity to contribute to wider MFL provision where applicable.

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level
* Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
* Strong subject knowledge in Spanish
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
* Experience teaching A-Level Spanish
* Ability to teach an additional language
* Experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
* Ability to contribute to language enrichment activities
