Title: Stores Coordinator/Assistant/Administrator
Shift: Monday to Thursday (7am to 3pm) & Friday (6am to 1pm)
Location: Perth and Kinross, Scotland

Role Overview:
* This role is vital within our engineering & maintenance team. The post holder must understand the impact of stock shortages on production and be proactive and methodical.
* Effective communication with Engineers, Supervisors, and Managers at all levels is essential.
* Complete contractual paperwork promptly and participate in annual stocktaking.
* Procure items at the most competitive prices.
Role Responsibilities:
* Monitor stock levels and decide on reordering based on the stock control system.
* Organize and maintain inventory for easy and safe access.
* Source cost-effective spares/commodities and keep accurate expenditure records.
* Record and monitor parts distribution to departments.
* Keep track of departmental spending.
* Ensure deliveries are undamaged and complete.
* Maintain stock safety and security.
* Generate, distribute, monitor, and record engineering requests.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in managing stores, especially engineering stores, is advantageous.
* Ability to work maturely with multi-discipline trade groups.
* Relevant knowledge in engineering, production, health & safety is beneficial.
* CAD knowledge is a plus but not necessary.
