Job Description:
Description
"They are engaged, enthusiastic, and always personable." - Chambers and Partners
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate lawyer to join the Real Estate team in our Bristol office. In this role, you will work on varied, high-quality projects for top clients, with a focus on land and development work.
The practice
Osborne Clarke LLP has an outstanding reputation in Real Estate, with a broad client base and complex, high-value projects. We have invested long-term in our UK and international Real Estate practice, covering residential development, regeneration, RE investment, RE funds, logistics, student accommodation, commercial development, telecommunications, utilities, energy, and retail sectors.
Developers rely on our expertise to manage projects from conception to completion, providing advice throughout the project lifecycle, including strategic land, acquisitions, affordable housing, build-to-rent, site setup, and infrastructure agreements.
Our practice is supported by strong departments in Litigation, Construction, Planning, Tax, and Site Setup, as well as OC Solutions, our award-winning legal innovation team.
Our clients
We serve market-leading developers and promoters, acting on a national level across multiple service lines. Our clients include Barratt, Vistry, Crest, Taylor Wimpey, St Modwen, and many others.
The team
The Real Estate team comprises over lawyers and partners across the UK, working collaboratively on major client accounts. Michelle McGurl (Partner) leads the team and is the UK Practice Group Head for Projects, Real Estate, and Finance.
Technical skills and experience
We seek an Associate or Senior Associate with experience in development matters, especially residential-led development and strategic land projects (desirable but not essential). We offer a comprehensive career development program, providing clear expectations, technical training, and recognition based on contribution and potential rather than PQE.
Salary and benefits
We offer competitive salaries and benefits. For more information or to apply, contact Angharad Jenkins in our Recruitment team. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
At Osborne Clarke, we value diversity and inclusion, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds. We support flexible working and are committed to fair wages, mental health, and inclusivity initiatives. We are also a Living Wage Employer and open to making adjustments during the application process.
