Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mazak Five Axis Programmer/Operator in the Greater Aberdeen Area. The programmer/operator will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Mazak Five Axis machines to manufacture downhole well intervention tools. Tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, preparing machine setups, conducting quality assurance checks, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components. The role requires close collaboration with the engineering team to optimize machine performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Experience with CNC programming or machining, particularly with Mazak machines, is highly desired
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
