About the role:

* Location: Remote-first (United States)
* Must be based in either Central or Eastern time zones
* Full-time
* Permanent
* Exempt
* The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
* United States (all figures cited below in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)
* Zone A: $197,000 - $252,000
* Zone B: $185,000 - $237,000
* Zone C: $173,000 - $222,000

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary commercial legal partner to Webflow’s rapidly-scaling go-to-market organization
* Own end-to-end legal support for enterprise and mid-market deals, acting as a senior advisor, deal closer, and escalation point for pre- and post-Sales teams
* Enable deal teams through strategy, training, enablement materials, and playbooks
* Independently lead and close complex enterprise negotiations with customers of all sizes and industries, balancing revenue impact, legal risk, and precedent
* Draft, negotiate, and refine a broad range of commercial agreements (MSAs, DPAs, Professional Services, Partnerships, and bespoke addenda)
* Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance that enables informed decisions and self-service contracting across sales motions
* Partner with Product, Privacy, and cross-functional teams to understand Webflow’s products and roadmap, ensuring commercial terms reflect current and future capabilities
* Hone AI-enabled legal tools and processes to speed up workflows while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and sound judgment


About you

Requirements:

* Admitted and in good standing in a relevant U.S. jurisdiction, with law firm training and meaningful in-house experience supporting revenue-generating teams
* 8+ years of post-qualification experience in fast-scaling cloud businesses where speed, judgment, and pragmatism matter
* Extensive experience drafting and negotiating high-touch commercial agreements in multi-jurisdictional B2B SaaS/PaaS environments

* Have strong legal and business acumen, and can partner effectively with fast-paced enterprise sales teams
* Are comfortable advising, coaching, and educating stakeholders from frontline sales reps to senior leadership
* Deliver clear, risk-balanced guidance with incomplete information and adapt quickly as deals and priorities change
* Thrive in a high-velocity environment, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate cross-functionally
* Are systems-savvy with experience using CLMs (e.g., Ironclad or similar), DocuSign, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack
* Stay curious and open to growth, including fluency in emerging technologies like AI
