Overview
HomeServe is currently recruiting directly employed Plumbing Engineers to join our team. As a Plumbing Engineer you will undertake maintenance and repair work of plumbing systems in customers’ homes, provide industry‑leading service, and help enhance our reputation while driving customer growth. You will also participate in our extensive training programme.
Training Schedule
* Week 1: Attend the Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday; cover HomeServe information, health and safety, and receive tools and equipment.
* Week 2: Be buddyed up with an experienced HomeServe Plumbing Engineer.
* Where geographically appropriate, accommodation and meal allowance for induction will be provided.
Requirements
* Level 2 in Plumbing (copies of certificates must be provided).
* 1st and 2nd fix plumbing experience.
* Experience working as a plumber in domestic housing.
* Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proactive, “can do” attitude.
* Keen eye for detail and problem‑solving skills.
Job Details
* Location – Harrow.
* Full Time – 40 hours per week, including weekend, evening and bank holiday work.
* Salary – £40 720 – £44 120 (dependent on experience) plus a guaranteed £3 000 bonus in the first year.
