Welcome to Cherrygrove Nursery, a nurturing and vibrant setting located in High Wycombe, just a stone's throw from the town center and easily accessible via the M40. Proudly rated Good by Ofsted, our nursery features three age-specific rooms, each with its own garden area, allowing children to explore and enjoy the great outdoors.
We are on the lookout for a passionate Room Leader to join our dedicated team. This full-time role offers 42.5 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. As we operate year-round, this position is not term-time only. The salary for this role is competitive, up to £29,940 per annum, based on your qualifications and experience.

Your Role as Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments in children.
* Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS.

What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential.
* Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years – Essential.
* Over 6 months of experience in a senior position – Desirable.
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating – Desirable.
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential.
* Fluency in written and spoken English – Essential.
