Hays are working with a one form entry school in Cheltenham who are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and nurturing school community.Your new role:
Working hours: Every morning and at least three afternoons per week (to be discussed at interview).
Initial placement likely in Year 2, with flexibility depending on experience and interests.
Teaching Assistants work across year groups, supporting the learning of children in classrooms and/or working with individual children or small groups as needed.
We are looking for candidates who:
Have a caring approach and enjoy working with children in a school environment.
Are willing to support the Christian ethos of the school.
Bring a calm demeanor and a good sense of humor.
Previous experience working with Primary education with children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years, either as a Teaching Assistant or as a Volunteer i.e within a youth organisation, sports coaching etc. English and Maths skills to support these areas of the curriculum.
