We are looking for an experienced Wood Machinist who knows their way around a joinery workshop. The following position requires someone who requires little training, so only candidates with previous wood machining experience will be considered.
This is a permanent position with competitive pay available with overtime @ increased rates.
As a wood machinist you will working in a large manufacturing company on residential, commercial, restorations and bespoke products. The company are based in Ipswich, Suffolk & are commutable via public transport.
45 hours a week, Monday Friday! Overtime paid at time & half!
As a wood machinist you must be familiar with the machinery in a joinery shop, this includes but is not limited to spindle moulders, routers, saws, band saw, drum sanders etc.
Other candidate requirements include: -
1. NVQ / apprenticeship in Joinery or Carpentry
2. Able to read and work from technical drawings.
3. Work experience in a woodwork environment
