Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Reward and Benefits Engagement Partner to join our team and help us take our colleague experience to the next level.

In this role, you'll do more than just manage processes — you'll be the go-to expert, guiding our managers and HR teams on all things reward. You’ll help ensure our reward and benefits strategies don’t just run smoothly, but actively enhance engagement, satisfaction, and success across the business.

What you’ll be doing: Supporting the Reward Manager with the day-to-day running of our reward programs Coaching and advising managers and HR colleagues, so they feel confident in reward practices Developing and implementing reward & benefits strategies that genuinely make a difference Making sure our processes run like clockwork — efficient, effective, and engaging

Responsibilities

* Be a day-to-day reward expert for Screwfix, providing advice, coaching and support to the business and HR colleagues on all rewards matters.
* Support the Reward Manager with the development of our strategy and activity focus
* Own a varied number of project – including design, engagement and delivery into the business – these can be Screwfix and/or Group-wide
* Coach, share and develop our team in new areas of reward and industry insights
* Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure our reward programs are competitive, fair, and aligned with our People Strategy.
* Design and execute reward and benefit programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.
* Partner with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure reward strategies are aligned with business objectives.
* Conduct regular market analysis to ensure our reward packages are competitive and in line with industry standards.
* Develop and deliver communication plans to ensure employees understand and appreciate their benefits.
* Ensure all reward and benefit programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of reward programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.


Qualifications

* To succeed in this role we need someone who has experience of advising on reward using knowledge and understanding to provide sound commercial decisions
* You will need to have experience in pay benchmarking and making decisions from it, working closely with stakeholders and the rest of the reward team
* Previous retail experience would be good but not a must
* You will need to have strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, ensuring the highest level of accuracy. The best candidates will also be able to effortlessly explain their findings to anyone in the business.
