Overview
By joining AJW Group, you will become part of a world-leading independent specialist in the supply, exchange, maintenance, repair, and lease of commercial and business aircraft spare parts. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will work with our customers both internationally and domestically to ensure that consignments are delivered in full on time, every time.
The logistics team provides a collaborative atmosphere where you can learn and specialise in logistics within a fast-paced environment, supported by people who are true specialists. This role is on-site at our HQ in Slinfold.
The night shift follows the pattern of 4 on 4 off 19:00-07:00, and you will be required to work onsite at our HQ in Slinfold. This role includes a £9,000 shift allowance on top of the offered salary.
What you will be doing
* Exceed customer expectations and meet requirements through global shipping
* Research and use the most economical and fast-paced methods of moving consignments globally
* Decide the best method of shipping
* Complete compliance documents
* Negotiate the cost of shipping
* Consider handling, labeling, and shipping dangerous goods
* Collaborate with internal departments to achieve department and company goals, in particular the warehouse to ensure that no interruptions occur in the customer journey
* Meet set company goals

* Sets stretched goals for themselves and their suppliers, prepared to take measured risks to gain a competitive advantage for AJW
* Strong administrative experience gained from an office environment

* Logistics or Aviation background preferred, but not essential
