We are seeking a friendly and supportive Personal Assistant to provide assistance to a lady living in the Omagh area. This role is funded via a Direct Payment and offers an opportunity to provide meaningful, personcentred support that promotes independence and community involvement.About the Role:The successful applicant will provide practical and social support, helping this lady to maintain her home environment and enjoy an active, fulfilling lifestyle within her local community. The role focuses on companionship, encouragement, and light practical assistance rather than personal care.
Responsibilities
* Light household tasks to help maintain a safe and comfortable home
* Supporting and accompanying the lady to access the local community
* Encouraging and assisting with social activities and outings
* Supporting hobbies and interests, particularly arts and crafts
* Accompanying the lady on walks and social engagements
* Providing friendly companionship and emotional support
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous care or support experience is desirable but not essential, as a genuine interest in supporting someone to live independently is most important.
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Access to a vehicle and confidence driving
* Able to demonstrate a kind, patient and respectful manner
* Willingness to undergo an Access NI check
