Overview
We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to manage our lead market in Europe. You will inspire, coach, and manage a talented team to overdeliver on our ambitious annual plan. You will foster a positive, inclusive culture for the UK sales and category teams, aligning with our LSB values, and motivating them to execute our strategy to win with customers and consumers in the UK and export markets.
Responsibilities
Lead the UK & Export Team
* Drive our hub culture and lead from the front, embodying our values and creating a highly regarded team environment at Frimley.
* Build, nurture, and develop a first-class sales and category team through strategic recruitment, onboarding, retention, and development plans.
* Lead the UK Hub Commercial Leadership Team, ensuring alignment with the EU head of Commercial and delivery of channel plans.
* Partner cross-functionally with finance, brand, and supply chain leaders to ensure aligned priorities.
* Maintain a sharp focus on budget, strategy, and hub priorities, fostering a high-performance culture.
Win With Our Retailers Through ‘Relationship Retail’
* Implement a sales strategy that energizes our channel and customer plans.
* Achieve transformational growth with top grocers and expand into new channels and markets.
* Drive e-commerce growth at least twice as fast as grocery growth.
* Create and execute a compelling category vision to engage retailers.
* Manage product launches and maintain a profitable portfolio aligned with brand strategies.
Deliver the Full P&L for Year 1 of Our 2030 Strategy
* Use sales plans to meet financial targets including ISV, NSV, DP, and OP.
* Monitor and adjust strategies based on performance data.
* Identify opportunities and mitigate risks through targeted customer actions.
* Manage trade budgets and make strategic trade-offs.
* Develop and present the next year’s budget aligned with our long-term plan.
Experience You’ll Bring
* Strong mass market commercial leadership skills and FMCG experience.
* Proven ability to build customer relationships at the buyer level and engage at senior levels.
* Leadership experience, preferably managing sales teams.
* Full P&L ownership experience across multiple channels.
* Financial acumen to manage budgets and adjust plans accordingly.
* Cross-functional collaboration experience.
