Job Overview
Persian Advice Bureaus is seeking to recruit an experienced immigration solicitor/senior caseworker to join our small, friendly team. The candidate must be an experienced IAAS Senior Caseworker or Supervising Senior Caseworker,
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various Immigration Law, Human Rights, and Asylum matters.
Due to the nature of the clients, the quality of work produced is of a high level, and the successful candidate must be up to date with legal developments and best practices.

The post-holder(s) will be responsible for delivering our immigration legal aid contract and providing advice in response to telephone and email enquiries.
We are seeking candidates who can offer up to 40 hours per week. We are open to a job share and/or a certain degree of flexibility.
The following is required of the candidate:
* Experienced Supervising Senior Caseworker with at least two years experience in Immigration, Asylum and Human Rights law.
* Experience in preparing appeals to the IAC, higher courts, judicial review applications and resisting removals.
* Experience in representing unaccompanied asylum-seeking children
* Professional with a pro-active approach; excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters sensitively and resolve complicated practicalities involved in Immigration issues.
* Knowledge of an additional language is a bonus but not essential.
* Have extensive experience in dealing with all Immigration and asylum-related legal aid work.
* Must be able to work on tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
* Positive energy and creativity are essential, along with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
* Familiar with LEAP management software.
* Polished client service with cultural sensitivity.

Salary :
* Solicitor/Caseworker - IAAS Senior Caseworker – up to £37,000
* Solicitor/Caseworker – IAAS Supervising Senior Caseworker – up to £39,000
* Caseworker - IAAS Senior Caseworker – up to £33,000
* Caseworker - IAAS Supervising Senior Caseworker – up to £35,000
