Job Role: Cloud Engineer
Location: Barrow In Furness, Cumbria
Salary: £50-55k PA + Benefits
Technology and Risk Recruitment (TRR) is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Cloud Engineer to support, maintain, and continuously improve their cloud and IT infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, security, and resilience of core IT services while supporting the organisation's wider technology strategy.
The Role:
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the organisation's cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with best practice. You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager and wider IT team to support business-critical systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure & Availability
* Manage availability, performance, and capacity of cloud services.
* Monitor and diagnose issues using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
* Ensure agreed service levels for availability and performance are consistently met.
Cloud Design & Security
1. Design and implement Azure solutions aligned with architectural best practices.
