See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview : As part of the talented Finance team, you will provide accounting assistance including monthly close, reporting, reconciliations, other administrative tasks as and when required with accuracy, adhering to deadlines and compliance. Essential Functions: Assist with month end close process to ensure: Timely and accurate preparation of trial balance Timely management accounts submission into group reporting software Completion of reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts Reconciliation of intercompany accounts Maintenance and reconciliation of fixed asset register Maintenance of lease register Assisting in completion of statutory audit, including liaising with the external audit team Administration of statutory reporting requirements including VAT Returns Administration of grant claim submissions to Invest Northern Ireland Bank reconciliations Administration of company expenses Other reporting and accounting administrative tasks as required Cross training in other tasks including: Ledger posting Payroll processing Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: Part Qualified accountant or accounting technician (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) 2 years minimum current or recent industry experience Proficient in Microsoft Office package, particularly MS Excel Preferred Qualifications: Group reporting Foreign currency transactions Payroll preparation/submission VAT/CT filing Grant claims Working Conditions: You will be working in an office environment with a manufacturing operation onsite This role is hybrid (3 days a week onsite) Why Brunswick: Whatever tomorrow brings, well be at the leading edge.
