A leading legal practice specialising in residential, new build and commercial property law, is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join their dedicated team in Essex.
Position Overview
You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive advice and support to clients throughout the conveyancing process. You will manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish, ensuring a smooth experience for clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions independently, from instruction to completion
2. Draft contracts and supporting legal documentation with precision and accuracy
3. Provide regular updates and clear, concise advice to clients, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the process
4. Liaise effectively with solicitors, agents, lenders, and third parties to progress transactions
5. Proactively drive files forward, ensuring timely exchange and completion
6. Prepare and manage completion Cstatements and handle post-completion work diligently
7. Respond promptly to new business enquiries and contribute to team growth and development
Requirements
8. Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential conveyancing
9. Confidence in managing a caseload independently with minimal supervision
10. Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process and associated legal principles
11. Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly
12. Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining attention to detail
