Overview
Rotational Pharmacist role at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. This rotational post offers experience across multiple sites within the trust and has the potential to progress to a band 7 post based on demonstrated competencies. Mental health experience is not essential as full training will be provided. This is a time to join an expanding pharmacy team, with in-built opportunities to develop skills for a future career in Hospital Pharmacy and Mental Health.
Following investment in our pharmacy service and the upcoming EPMA system implementation, this is a fantastic time to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Be an integrated member of the pharmacy team, providing dedicated, safe and effective, patient-centred clinical service across the trust and high-quality pharmaceutical care to all patients.
* Work within a supportive team under the guidance of experienced senior clinical pharmacists.
* Contribute to service development and quality and safety through ward rounds, audits and education.
* Access further specialist rotations during progression, including opportunities in our substance misuse unit, forensic services and CAMHS.
* Support personal development including non-medical prescribing where appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified pharmacist or those looking to move from community or acute hospital trusts into Mental Health Secondary Care.
* Enthusiastic, with strong professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to the service.

Location: Greater Manchester area, with main site at Prestwich Hospital; other satellite pharmacies within the Trust.
