Service Engineer - Trend & Schneider BMS
Location: Central Bristol
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Company Car + Healthcare + Additional Benefits
The Role
As a BMS Service Engineer, you'll take responsibility for the service, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of Trend and Schneider BMS systems across a cluster of high-spec university buildings. You'll work closely with site-based and regional teams to ensure systems are performing efficiently, identifying improvements, and supporting ongoing system upgrades.
This is a secure, local role - no extensive travel or overnight stays - ideal for an engineer who values a consistent workload and a strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and optimise Trend and Schneider BMS systems across campus sites.
* Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently and effectively.
* Carry out software modifications and small works when required.
* Support system upgrades and continuous performance improvements.
* Deliver a professional, customer-focused service and maintain strong client relationships.
* Ensure all documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
* Proven background in Trend and/or Schneider BMS servicing.
* Experience with IQVision (preferred but not essential).
* Self-sufficient, proactive approach with strong fault-finding and communication skills.
* Completed Trend/Schneider training or equivalent BMS certification.
* Full UK driving licence.
