Empowering Learning Ltd is currently seeking exceptional SEND Teaching Assistants to join schools in Barnet, London. We are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on individuals who are passionate about supporting students with Autism (ASD), Anxiety, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The ideal candidates will have experience working with SEND students and possess a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive. A key quality the school values is the ability to provide strong academic support, guiding students in their learning while also promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
To be successful for this role you must:
* Bring passion, enthusiasm, and a desire to work in SEND learning environments.
* Possess knowledge and experience with SEND students or a strong background in supporting individuals with autism.
* Have experience working in the education or care system, supporting either adults or children.
* Contribute meaningfully to the students' learning journey.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assisting students in the classroom both individually and in groups
* Supervising children inside and outside the classroom
* Encouraging and supporting students in their learning
* Aiding the teacher in lesson preparation and activity planning
