Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service is looking for an Digital Trainer to enhance our team based in Exeter. You will join us on a full-time (37 hours per week), permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,745 - £38,223 per annum. The role is based at our Service Headquarters in Exeter, with flexible and/or home working options to be discussed and agreed upon with the successful applicant.

This is a unique opportunity to join our Digital, Data and Technology department as a Digital Trainer. You will be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey, driving digital proficiency across the Service.
We seek a passionate individual about digital technologies with an interest in training and development. You will design and deliver impactful training programs leveraging digital tools like Microsoft 365 to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
This role suits someone proactive, creative, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Your knowledge of digital tools and ability to identify and address skill gaps will be key to our transformation.

Key responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver accessible training for end users, including guides, videos, and maintaining a skills training SharePoint site.
* Apply creativity in training design and delivery.
* Possess proficiency in digital tools and technologies such as Office 365, cloud solutions, and digital communication platforms.
* Explore innovative training solutions to enhance program efficiency.
* Facilitate safe training sessions, adhering to health and safety regulations and conducting risk assessments.
* Evaluate training effectiveness via assessments and feedback for continuous improvement.
