Accounts Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Salary: 24,000.00 - 27,000.00 GBP Annual + parking, 4pm finish on Fridays
Major Recruitment Oldbury is delighted to be recruiting for a professional company in the central Dudley area, seeking an Administrator to start immediately. The role is a 9-12 month contract to cover maternity.
Please note: this role is office-based and NOT remote or hybrid.
Responsibilities:
* Working with the existing Accounts Assistant and reporting directly to the Finance Director.
* Inputting purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements monthly.
* Raising sales invoices and managing credit control.
* Posting income and sales valuations.
* Calculating weekly payroll.
* Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting.
* Preparing fortnightly subcontractor payments.
* Data entry of subcontractor rates into the system.
* Maintaining subcontractor records.
* Providing general office administration support.
Candidate Requirements:
* Ability to work within a busy accounts department with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
* Ideally, a qualified AAT student.
* Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, with a 4pm finish on Fridays.
