Location: Albany House, Stratford Upon Avon
Enhancement Payments: £50 per sleep in (8 hours), £0.86 unsocial hours, 1.5× hourly rate bank holiday
About Albany House
Albany House is a small, CQC‑registered service that supports up to eight people living with severe and enduring mental illness. We provide a warm, recovery‑focused environment where individuals can build confidence, develop daily living skills, manage finances, and work toward goals such as education, training or employment. The aim is to help each person move forward at their own pace and live a more independent, fulfilling life.
What you will do
In this role, you will support individuals on their recovery journey, helping them build skills, confidence and independence. Your work will include:
* Providing one‑to‑one key‑worker support and building positive, professional relationships
* Carrying out assessments and developing personalised support and safety plans
* Encouraging people to manage their mental and physical wellbeing
* Supporting individuals with daily living skills and accessing community services
* Liaising with mental health agencies, professionals and community groups
* Contributing to safeguarding and promoting a safe, supportive environment
* Keeping accurate records, monitoring progress and sharing information with team
* Helping improve the service by offering feedback and supporting colleagues
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting people with mental illness or in a social care setting (paid or voluntary)
* Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness
* Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet)
* Commitment to our values and willingness to learn
