Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference in cancer care? The Royal Marsden School is seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our team as a key member of the administration team. The successful candidate will provide full and comprehensive administrative support to the senior leadership team and support the day-to-day running of the department within a busy office environment. You will provide, organise, maintain and prioritise activities and facilities at The Royal Marsden School. A strong attention to detail, planning and organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are important for this role.
Responsibilities
* Provide full and comprehensive administrative support to the senior leadership team and assist with day-to-day running of the department within a busy office environment.
* Provide, organise, maintain and prioritise activities and facilities at The Royal Marsden School.
* Identify and arrange in-person classroom and equipment needs for each teaching activity and ensure teaching rooms are set up appropriately on the day.
* Ensure teaching rooms are maintained to a professional standard and report/escalate problems as required; maintain IT and other equipment as needed.
* Be responsible for booking rooms for individuals outside of School staff to ensure appropriate use of facilities, in line with guidance and procedure.
* Lead on administrative tasks to support the move of the School, Conference Centre and Library to a new location.

Requirements
* Experience providing comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership teams or similar executive environments.
* Strong attention to detail with proven planning and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work proactively, use initiative, and escalate issues to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
* Ability to manage space and facilities within an office or educational environment.
