Guided by key members of our busy maintenance team youâll develop invaluable skills that are needed to provide a prompt and responsive breakdown fault diagnosis & repair service, as well as routine mechanical maintenance across a range of plant and state of the art sawmilling machinery. The work environment and collage placement days will enable you to gain the practical and interpersonal skills needed to develop your career in engineering.\nThe course will cover elements of, Pneumatics and hydraulics, Thermofluids, Engineering measurement and system monitoring and Materials selection.\n You will hold at least 4 Standard grades/National 5's or equivalent. You will be self motivated with a positive and enthusiastic approach, and an eagerness to develop in a fast paced and growing business. In addition, you will have, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \n\nYou will be a collaborative team player with the ability to be well organised. You will enjoy problem solving and have a good eye for the finer details.\n\nWorking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment you will need to have an appreciation of quality and Health & Safety. \n\nYou will also need to be willing to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the programme.
