Position Summary
The Manager Learning & Development Delivery helps drive Marriott values and philosophy and ensures all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organization’s mission and vision. This role monitors service channels to assess quality and is responsible for delivering core and leadership training programs across properties in the region. Topics include management development, product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership skills. The Manager oversees both custom and corporate training delivery and evaluates effectiveness to ensure ROI for Marriott International and property leadership.

Scope

1. Location: London
2. Language Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
3. Travel: Required as per business needs

Key Responsibilities

Delivery of Training

7. Delivers a variety of training across hotels in the region, ensuring high-quality delivery and participant satisfaction
8. Supports and manages business-driven training initiatives
9. Delivers relevant leadership programs aligned with current business needs
10. Coaches on-property training leads for confident and consistent program delivery
11. Communicates clearly across all training phases (prework to postwork) and tracks feedback
12. Supports additional training delivery needs within EMEA L+D discipline
13. Acts as a role model for training delivery
14. Performs other duties as assigned

Reporting and Quality Control

15. Tracks key business indicators to assess training effectiveness and adjusts as needed
16. Recommends enhancements to maintain training relevance

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

17. 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
18. 2 years’ experience in HR, operations, marketing, brand management, or related area
19. 2 years’ experience in a training manager role, including building plans and delivering classroom training
20. Experience working in EMEA and cross-cultural environments
21. Certification in Marriott leadership programs
22. Ability to deliver training in-person and virtually (., Microsoft Teams)
23. Willingness to travel as required
