We are recruiting Support Workers to join our team across Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes and in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
*Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21, which equates to an annual salary of approximately £26,652.72 based on a 42-hour work week. The annual salary is for illustrative purposes only. NLW applies and will be pro-rata'd based on hours worked. This is a Full-Time contracted position.
We offer flexible working hours/shifts to accommodate your commitments.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting employment.
New staff will complete a comprehensive Induction Programme including face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing experienced team members.
For those new to care, we support you to complete your Care Certificate and obtain a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or relevant field, partnering with Lifetime Training.

Main Responsibilities
* Support service users to lead full, active lives according to their wishes and support plans, participating in plan development where applicable
* Ensure safety and take appropriate actions to safeguard welfare and prevent abuse
* Provide emotional support with a person-centered approach
* Assist with social activities, manage finances and medication, support practical tasks, and assist with personal care, hygiene, and healthcare
* Serve as an informal point of contact for families and social workers
* Report and record care-related issues accurately to monitor health and wellbeing
* Follow Health and Safety regulations, prioritizing the safety and welfare of others
