Production Manager
Our successful manufacturing client based in Stafford Park is looking for a full‑time temporary to permanent Production Manager to join their senior team and drive the production and quality.
Role Overview
As the Production Manager you will also be planning and leading the day‑to‑day production activities, overseeing the whole production process, identifying opportunities for process improvement, making recommendations where necessary, adopting a continuous improvement approach ideally using LEAN manufacturing methods.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate production reports and analyse KPI's, providing them to Directors monthly and within budget.
* Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's capacity.
* Create and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules.
* Take responsibility for the maintenance of factory equipment.
* Ensure that factory hygiene and health and safety standards are achieved and maintained in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing industry.
* Experience in leading and training a production team.
* IT literate.
* Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
* Outstanding communication ability.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Strong decision‑making skills and a results‑driven approach.
Hours
07:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday, Fridays
Salary
£22.77 per hour
