Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of cost planning, control, and financial reporting on assigned projects
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
* Conduct cost analyses, risk management, and value engineering exercises
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships
* Monitor project progress, manage variations, and oversee the final account process
* Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
* Mentor and support junior surveyors within the team
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 5 years in a senior role
* Strong background in commercial and industrial construction projects
* In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.)
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
* Relevant degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management)
* MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential)
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to work autonomously
