A BOUT US We have recently opened Le Café NAC, a brand-new all-day dining concept in Belgravia, and we’re looking for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping our kitchen. This exciting new venue offers French-inspired food and drinks with global influences, set in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Le Café NAC is the latest addition to BVC Hospitality, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognized food concepts, including NAC, Crème, 74 Duke, and Supernova. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new opening, working closely with the Head Chef to take ownership of daily kitchen operations, mentor and develop the brigade, and deliver consistently exceptional dining experiences. POSITION SUMMARY As Senior Sous Chef, you will be the Head Chef’s right hand, trusted to take full charge of the kitchen in their absence. This is a highly influential role that combines hands-on cooking with strong leadership, operational oversight, and creative input. The position demands advanced culinary expertise, proven leadership ability, and a passion for building and inspiring a team. You will play a central role in ensuring Le Café NAC becomes a go-to destination in Belgravia for outstanding food, hospitality, and atmosphere. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent food quality. Deputise for the Head Chef when required, taking full responsibility for the team and service. Inspire, train, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence and respect. Maintain consistency in food preparation, execution, and presentation across all services. Uphold food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations, ensuring compliance at the highest level. Manage stock, inventory, and ordering with precision, minimising waste and maintaining GP targets. Support the Head Chef in driving innovation, improving processes, and maintaining operational efficiency. KEY REQUIREMENTS Culinary Skills: Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up in a high-energy, high-volume kitchen. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead a team with professionalism and positivity. Operational Acumen: Strong knowledge of kitchen processes, food safety, ordering, and cost control. Attention to Detail: Commitment to consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
