Job Introduction
Working directly alongside the Divisional Finance Director, you will share responsibility for the business finance function and digital development, aligned with the company's strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with the Managing Director, Divisional Finance Director, Senior Management, and key stakeholders across various departments, providing commercial finance support, business partnering, FP&A, system and process development, and striving to exceed customer expectations through prompt decision-making, flexible processes, and regular strategic reviews.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support senior management by gathering information on specific business areas and presenting results effectively.
2. Develop and produce capital business plans.
3. Manage the investment process, including capex reporting, planning, procurement, and asset control.
4. Conduct ROI analysis and customer rate analysis, presenting findings to sales teams for new agreements.
5. Create strategic business plans to align with and achieve company goals.
6. Drive revenue growth through sales initiatives, including real-time reporting and automation.
7. Engage in business partnering across various stakeholders, providing challenge and advice as needed.
8. Prepare key financial statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Forecasts.
9. Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
10. Perform detailed analysis of financial areas, balancing cash flow, PBIT, and ROCE.
11. Manage credit, review sales ledger debt balances, and assess customer risk levels.
12. Oversee business risks through internal audits of various business elements.
