Position
We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager for Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for someone experienced in business development, confident building relationships across health, public sector, VCSE and corporate environments, and able to manage a varied and fast paced workload. You will support the sustainable growth of Henshaws Sight Loss Services by securing new income streams and developing strong partnerships across the region. We are also open to applications from people who may prefer to work part time, and would be happy to explore options with the right candidate.
Your work will directly support our mission to empower people with sight loss to live independently and confidently.

* Salary: £22.15 per hour or £40,313 per annum
* Hours per week: 35
* Weeks per year: 52
* Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holiday
* Contract: Permanent
* Location: Greater Manchester office with travel required

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in a business development or income generating role, ideally within a target driven environment. You should be confident managing a structured sales pipeline and skilled at building long lasting relationships across the NHS, local authorities, VCSE organisations and corporate partners.
Experience preparing bids, tenders or commercial proposals is essential. Experience within the charity or sight loss sector is helpful but not required. You should be comfortable interpreting financial and strategic information and able to work collaboratively with operational teams to turn service ideas into strong proposals.
A degree or equivalent professional experience is required. You must also be flexible to travel between sites and meetings across Greater Manchester. An enhanced DBS check including the child barring list will be required.
