We’re hiring for a Workshop Engineer to join a long-established engineering team in Stockport.

What will you be doing as a Workshop Engineer?
* Setting and operating CNC machinery once programmes are loaded
* Bench work including drilling, tapping, filing, deburring, and assembly
* Building tools and components from engineering drawings
* Working with aluminium and steel components
* Using manual engineering equipment (lathe, drills, hand tools)
* Cleaning, preparing, and assembling tooling
* Liaising closely with CAD/CAM engineers
* Working independently at the bench and supporting wider workshop tasks
What will you need?
* Hands-on engineering experience (manual or CNC)
* The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Confidence with hand tools and workshop machinery
