In 2015, Deutsche Windtechnik entered the UK market and now has over 640 WTG's/700MW under Service & Maintenance contracts, our aim being to expand further into both onshore and offshore markets. Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd's head office is located in Livingston.
You will work closely with all departments in the UK and other group companies to ensure we are providing a level of service expected from a market leader. Although the majority of your time will be spent working in the UK you may be expected to spend some periods working with colleagues in Germany and in other DWT group countries.

Job purpose:
The QHSE Advisor supports Deutsche Windtechnik in maintaining safe, compliant, and high-quality operations across all UK activities. The role provides professional advice and assurance across health, safety, environmental, and quality matters within wind farm operations, maintenance, and major components replacement projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Promote and support a strong QHSE culture across all UK operations.
· Develop, review, and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, risk assessments, and training materials.
· Carry out site inspections, audits, and compliance checks across wind farm and office locations.
· Support accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and prepare formal reports.
· Provide QHSE advice to clients, employees, contractors, and management.
· Coordinate and deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training.
· Monitor statutory inspections, certifications, and compliance records.
· Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and clients as required.
· Exercise Stop Work Authority where unsafe conditions are identified.

Your Profile
· Formal qualification in Health and Safety.
· Minimum three years' experience in a QHSE Advisor role.
· Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation.
· Experience within engineering, construction, or renewable energy sectors.
Personal attributes:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
· Good IT and report-writing skills.
· Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
· Commitment to continuous professional development.
