This is an ongoing locum opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join a dynamic team within the Kinship/Assessment sector in Liverpool. Responsibilities:
* Conduct viability reports and family and friends assessments to ensure placement suitability.
* Perform fostering assessments, including form C, and present findings to the fostering panel.
* Complete viability, kinship, and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments with accuracy and care.
* Work closely with local authority child care and legal teams to meet court deadlines.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of fostering regulations, legislation, and National Minimum Standards.
This team operates out of Parklands, Liverpool, L24 0TY, offering free parking and a supportive environment. Candidates should reside within an hour’s commute of Liverpool and commit to a full-time role for the duration of the placement, which extends through April 2026 or at least six months. A driver’s license is essential due to the role’s nature.
