Your role You will be the key point of contact for our customers, guiding them through the servicing process and ensuring their experience with us is smooth and efficient. Your Responsibilities: Handle telephone calls and walk-in customer requests promptly and professionally. Schedule suitable appointments using our workshop loading or booking system. Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure the correct parts are ordered and available. Greet customers and establish a clear understanding of any issues they are experiencing with their vehicle. Complete job cards with detailed information on each task to be completed by the workshop. Verify payment methods and clarify customer payment obligations. Keep customers informed about progress and additional work required, obtaining approval for any additional services. Coordinate with technicians to ensure customer needs are met effectively. Ensure the vehicle is ready for collection at the pre-agreed time. Explain all completed service and repair work to customers, item by item, when they collect their vehicle. Notify customers when backordered parts are available and arrange appointments to schedule in the workshop. Maximize workshop productivity through efficient booking management. Assume additional responsibilities in the absence of the Service Manager or other staff members. Your profile Previous experience in a similar Service Advisor role within the automotive industry. A customer-first mindset and a dedication to delivering exceptional service. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, Drive) and workshop booking systems.
