Accounts Administrator (Part-Time)

Salary c. £13.00- £15.00 P/H DOE
On behalf of our client a leading long established construction firm, McKinty Associates are seeking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join our client’s team on a Part-Time basis.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a financial environment, ideally with direct involvement in purchase ledger as well as being a competent user of all Microsoft Office applications.
Key Duties:
1. Purchase ledger including Matching, checking & coding invoices
2. Maintaining Accounts inboxes
3. Dealing with supplier queries
4. Making payments via BACS
5. Agreeing Statements
6. Bank Reconciliations
7. General administration
8. Maintain and update systems
9. Typing various documents and electronic information
10. Accurate filing, record keeping and data entry
11. Relevant ad hoc duties as required
Eligibility criteria:
12. Previous experience in a similar role desirable
13. Competent experience using Sage / other relevant accounting programs
14. Computer literate – including strong Microsoft Excel
15. Enthusiastic and positive attitude
16. Ability to work on own initiative
17. Good numeracy skills
18. Ability to manage deadlines and workload
19. Be highly numerate and comfortable working with multiple sources of information.
20. Excellent communicator and able to build relationships and rapport
