Responsibilities
* Provide a comprehensive, high calibre secretarial and administrative service to the Management Team to support the locality business agenda, including production of letters and reports, drafting routine correspondence and collating information as required.
* Manage diary commitments and schedule meetings by liaising with a wide range of staff both internal and external to the NHS to ensure that the Management team business is progressed.
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and telephone calls including prioritising of workload, distribution of mail, initiating required action and setting/noting deadlines for the return of information/replies, following up delayed responses and self‑initiating replies to ensure appropriate and time‑sensitive responses.
* Create and maintain databases for a variety of management team information requirements, including absence management and local training data, and produce regular reports to inform the management team in it’s delivery of performance management objectives.

From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours. Part‑time working hours will be reduced on a pro‑rated basis. A corresponding increase in the hourly rate will apply, ensuring that overall pay remains unchanged.
