You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm. We're looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages. What you'll do
1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service, putting customers first: responding to queries, promoting Co-op products and Membership, supporting the post office counter, and ensuring a great shopping experience.
2. Support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members, making everyone's day better.
3. Ensure the store is safe and compliant: keep shelves stocked, and check prices, dates, and temperatures.
4. Assist in introducing new products and services, sharing experiences with colleagues to facilitate learning.
5. Support the local community by engaging in activities and events.
