£25,584 - £26,409 pro rata per year. Grade 5 (07-09). Day Support Worker, 30 Hours per week, required for West Cross Day Service, Monday to Friday.
West Cross Day Service is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and caring person to support individuals with Autism and complex needs. Experience of Personal Care, Positive Behaviour Management, Epilepsy and Administrating Medication would be essential. A willingness to support the service user to follow a range of daily activities for them to achieve their agreed outcomes is essential.
The successful candidate would require an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in care or be willing to work towards this professional qualification. A willingness to work as part of a staff team to support the service users to follow a range of daily activities for them to achieve their agreed outcomes is essential.
You would receive regular supervision, be expected to undertake a range of training opportunities, and contribute to the continuing development of the service. You would be required to hold a full driving licence, have business insurance, and be a car owner. You may also be asked to work within other services when required.
