Temp All Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting for an Office Manager on behalf of our client, a leading wholesale supplier. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to oversee daily office operations. Additionally, the candidate must be flexible to cover warehouse tasks during quieter periods. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the office and delivering exceptional customer service.
The Role
* Office duties: Manage day-to-day office operations, answer customer enquiries via telephone and email, take customer orders and accurately input them into the company system, liaise with couriers (chasing estimated delivery times and lost parcels), send out catalogues to customers, and perform PA duties as required.
* Warehouse duties: During quieter periods, responsibilities include booking in stock against purchase orders, packing products, picking customer orders, and other duties necessary for efficient warehouse operations.
Your Experience/Requirements
* Strong clerical skills with attention to detail.
* Previous experience overseeing office operations and handling customer enquiries and orders.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in administrative tasks with strong organisational skills.
* Proven ability to supervise teams effectively.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Professional phone etiquette to positively represent the company.
* Must have own transport due to location in Colchester, which is not accessible via public transport.
