D&B Cabinets is a well-established kitchen manufacturer based in Great Harwood with over 25 years of experience within the furniture manufacturing industry. We deal with kitchen & bedroom showrooms and tradesmen across the North West.
We are looking for a long term, reliable candidate to join our team. Knowledge of manufacturing and a high level of Numeracy and English are essential for this job role as it is highly focused around Maths and production.
The right candidate will be exposed to an exhaustive level of information throughout the training period and beyond.
Due to the nature and complexity of this job role, we are looking for a candidate that meets our personal attributes, in-depth training will be given during your probation period of 6 months, therefore a minimum of 5 YEARS Sales Order/Processing Admin experience is needed. Candidates will be expected to complete a competency test to pass probation, this will be set out throughout the last 3 months of probation.
Only those applicants who have legal right to work in the UK and posses a suitable amount of UK based Sales Order/Processing Admin experience will be considered.
Job Role and Expectations
On successful completion of your probationary period, you will be expected to;
* Prioritise and manage workload without direct supervision. Orders and Quotations are time sensitive.
* Have a clear understanding of following an order from inputting through to processing then production. You will be expected to understand basic kitchen cabinet/furniture manufacturing knowledge.
* Proficient using EasyQuote and other IT systems as required
* Ensure orders and quotes are handled in the correct company procedure and government GDPR standards
* Responsible for entering data, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of orders.
* Ensuring general admin duties are completed whilst working to your own schedule alongside colleagues and customers. The right candidate will be accountable for their own company accounts, this will be discussed at length in a 3 month review meeting.
* Collecting payments from off-account customers and work with accounts to ensure orders are paid in a timely manner and to company procedure.

The successful candidate will need to have a fresh attitude to learning, work cohesively in a team whilst working to their own customers deadlines. The ideal candidate will need to be confident and self-assured in their work and understanding of the role. The company expects the candidate to have a high level of organisational and prioritising skills, with experience of dealing with short deadlines. The candidate will have experience in stressful situations, whilst remaining professional and according to company standards.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following skills;
* Excellent telephone manners
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new information, skills and processes
* Great customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to prioritise and motivate themselves without direct supervision
* High level of numeracy and good attention to detail
* ICT experience
* Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and 365
Experience
* Sales Order / Processing Admin – 5 YEARS
* Strong Maths and English
* Kitchen industry/manufacturing (Desirable)
* Understanding of CAD/CAM plans (Desirable)

Salary – Starting £13.50 p/h
Start Date - Immediate
Hours of Work – 30 hours per week (Mon - Thurs 8am – 2:30pm, Friday 8am – 12pm) – Alternative Friday's after probation working (Mon-Thurs 8am -3:30pm, Friday OFF)
