Principal Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner Location: Newcastle or Leeds (Hybrid Working) Type: Full-time, Permanent A leading UK transport consultancy with a strong presence across the North of England is seeking a Principal Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner to join its well-established Transport Planning team. The Role The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering development-related transport planning projects, including: Preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans Input into Environmental Impact Assessments (transport chapters) Data collection, analysis and interpretation Preparation of technical reports and drawings Undertaking site visits and attending client and stakeholder meetings Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team Assisting with client liaison and fee proposal preparation as requiredClient Sectors Projects are typically delivered for: Residential and commercial developers Local and highway authorities Architects, planners and other built environment professionalsCandidate Profile This role would suit a motivated and technically competent transport planner with several years' UK consultancy experience.
