We're hiring a Project Manager to join our Critical Power team.
This role can be based out of any of our UK or Ireland depots.
What you’ll do:
1. Lead Critical Power Projects: Oversee the full project lifecycle for critical power solutions, from pre-sales engagement through installation, commissioning, and professional handover, ensuring seamless delivery for Data Centres and Utilities clients.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, consultants, and internal teams, building strong relationships and ensuring all parties are aligned on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
3. Commercial & Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed financial targets.
4. Risk & Compliance Management: Conduct on-site safety inspections, enforce Aggreko’s QHSE standards, and ensure all work complies with industry regulations and best practices for mission-critical environments.
5. Technical Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to deliver complex power solutions.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery, service quality, and customer satisfaction, driving best practices across the critical power portfolio.
7. Regional & Global Support: Support the wider business by deploying project management expertise across other sectors or geographies as required, maintaining high standards and continuity for global accounts.
8. Brand Ambassador: Represent Aggreko professionally on customer sites and at industry events, upholding the company’s reputation for excellence in critical power solutions.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
9. PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification, or a proven track record managing complex, time-critical projects in the power or utilities sector.
10. Proven experience delivering projects in critical power environments (Data Centres, Utilities, or similar mission-critical sectors).
11. Strong understanding of temporary and permanent power systems, including generators, UPS, switchgear, and electrical distribution.
12. Demonstrable experience managing multidisciplinary project teams, customers, and remote stakeholders.
13. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex challenges under pressure and meet demanding customer expectations.
14. Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing project budgets, contracts, and financial performance.
15. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
16. Commitment to QHSE and continuous improvement.
17. Willingness to travel to customer sites and participate in an on-call rota as required.
