What We Offer • Competitive weekly pay – £462.80 to £543.20 per week • Full-time and part-time Teaching Assistant opportunities • Roles within growing and supportive PRU and specialist school settings • Opportunities to work across both primary and secondary education settings • Access to CPD training and professional development opportunities • Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant • Company pension scheme and additional employee benefits • Long-term opportunities with potential permanent positions available The Role As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant in Abergavenny, you will: • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and within small groups • Build strong, trusting, and positive relationships with pupils • Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs within the classroom • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning and pupil wellbeing • Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies • Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning and classroom activities • Support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom environment • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Many pupils within PRU and specialist settings come from disadvantaged backgrounds and require positive role models, structure, consistency, and encouragement to achieve success within education.
