Role
Secretary - Clinical Services at NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
Responsibilities
The post holder is required to provide a full administrative and secretarial service to a multidisciplinary team, including management of information systems and coordination of the clinical referral system.
Qualifications
 * RSA3/SVQ3/NC in Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
 * Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
 * Excellent organisational, prioritisation and initiative.
 * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 * Excellent time management skills.
 * Ability to work under pressure.
 * Minimum two years secretarial experience in an equivalent position.
Additional Skills (Nice to have)
 * Evidence of note‑taking at meetings.
 * Previous NHS experience supporting a clinical team.
 * Working knowledge of database systems such as NHS Trak, Winscribe, SSTS, Pecos.
 * Previous supervisory experience.
 * Willingness to cover annual and sick leave if required.
 * Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence (if required).
Contract
 * Permanent.
 * Full time.
 * 37 hours per week.
Location and Working Pattern
Health Centre Administration within HMP Shotts.
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5 pm; Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm.
