Warehouse Operative
Location: Garstang
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and every other Saturday 8am to 4pm
Our client, a leading logistics company in the courier industry, is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative/Administrator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and growing organisation, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and administrative functions.
As a Warehouse Operative, your main responsibilities will include:
Accurately processing orders, ensuring the correct items are picked and packed.
Efficiently and safely operating warehouse equipment,
Maintaining inventory levels, completing stock checks, and escalating any discrepancies.
Assisting with administrative tasks, including data entry and file management.
Liaising with different teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards within the warehouse.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
Computer literacy is essential, as you will be required to use various systems and software.
Previous experience as a picker packer, ideally within the courier industry.
A valid driver's licence is desirable, as there is no public transport.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
