We’re looking for a Hotel Administration Manager that can make a difference, motivate a team and run the behind the scenes of a busy hotel smoothly. What your days could look like: Team & Engagement Make authentic relationships with all team members to be able to create a positive influence. Championing all things ‘team engagement’. Support with collation of good news content to share with the wider operations and engagement team. Support with arranging exit interviews. Support with preparing and sharing internal comms to the hotel team and wider business as appropriate. Support with planning team ‘thank you’s’ at key operational times. Administration, compliance & support Support with communicating and coordinating site level charity and wellbeing events. Support with event operational admin and planning, updating event sheets and coordinating activity with the hotel and support teams. Support the Head of Sustainability and engagement with on-site initiatives and implementation. Support the GM and senior team with administration tasks. Attend weekly and monthly meetings as required, take accurate minutes and circulate action points as agreed. Support managers with using our HR & Scheduling system (rotas, scheduling and queries). Support HR with disciplinary and grievance processes, coordinating meetings and note taking if required. Support the management team with reporting and collating revenue data. Support the management team with processing of credit card expenses as required. Coordinate with payroll for any payroll or holiday queries. Training Co-ordinate new starters to attend our company induction. Prepare weekly overview report of training completion and follow up with managers. Support with preparing departmental training documents and material. Job skills and requirements: Essential: Excellent attention to detail. Flair for administrative duties. Organised and able to manage a variety of tasks at once. Ability to work to deadlines. Ability to work under pressure. Efficient. Reliable. Trustworthy. Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative. Enthusiastic. Positive and upbeat. Computer literate. Experience with hotel systems. Good understanding of employment law. Ability to organise others. Preferred: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role. Previous work experience within a hospitality environment. A minimum of 1 years’ experience in an management role.
