You will join this busy Media &munications team on a temporary six-month basis, to support themunications Lead in developing and implementing all media and public relations activity, both internally and externally.
Your new role
You will support with the delivery of themunications and Engagement strategy, providing advice on these strategies to all departments within the organisation. You will draft content including newsletters, to promote engagement campaigns, good news stories and initiatives. You will draft and issue press releases, handle reactive press office / media enquiries and develop proactive media relations with local and sector-specific outlets. You will support with filming opportunities, coordinate media interviews and help to develop and maintain the online calendar. You will also plan and attend events and create content for delivery at these events.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of working within an associated field with a proven track record of leading, coordinating and facilitatingmunications and engagement activities. You will have excellent written and verbalmunications skills with experience of using a wide range of methods and channels, including websites, intranet, press and hard copy documentation. An understanding of promotional campaigns and associated messaging would be highly desirable for this post.
What you'll get in return
£ per hour, plus holiday allowance. Six-month temporary assignment to start as soon as possible. Hybrid working options are available, but with the need to travel regularly to the organisation's offices in Llantrisant.
