The job itself
Gentleman in his early 30s requires a personal assistant. Gentleman has a learning disability but is able to socialise well. Requires someone to take him out and about in the local community and further afield. Preferrably someone who can drive, however is able to access public transport. Main requirement is to socialise so requires someone who is friendly and able to build good trusting relationships, someone he can talk to.
Gentleman enjoys wildlife and fishing, enjoys walks and fairgrounds i.e. Yorkshire wildlife park would be ideal also enjoys arts and crafts/woodwork, car Raleigh’s etc.
Requires someone who is a good listener and able to relate to him as he enjoys talking to people and making friends.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
